Alice C. Arend

**Alice C. Arend**, 95, of Orlando, Florida passed away Monday, May 13, 2013 at the Hospice of the Comforter in Altamonte Springs, Florida. She was born in Elizabeth, Indiana on May 27, 1918 the daughter of Albert and Estella Funk Cotner. She was married to William Arend on October 10, 1941 and he preceded her in death on January 28, 1981. Survivors include three sons William S. (Sam) Arend of Grapevine, Texas, Robert (Carol) Arend of The Woodlands, Texas, and John Arend of Casselberry, Florida; 3 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her parents and her sister Anita Norris. Mrs. Arend was a homemaker and was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Winter Park, Florida. Graveside services will be held Saturday, May 18 at 11am at the Cliff Hill Cemetery in Versailles. Memorials may be given to the Cliff Hill Cemetery in care of the Stratton-Karsteter Funeral Home in Versailles.
