Alice Mcminds

Alice McMinds, 84, of Holton passed away Wednesday, June 6, 2007 at the Margaret Mary Community Hospital in Batesville. She was born near Osgood on January 23, 1923 the daughter of Gilmore and Louanna Willis Kelley. She was married to Lee McMinds on April 2, 1942 and he survives. Other survivors include two daughters, Connie Kelley of Napoleon and Betty Randolph and her husband Skip of Indianapolis; five grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, and her daughter Barbara Meyer. Mrs. McMinds was a 1941 graduate of Osgood High School and was a homemaker. She was a member of the Osgood Christian Church and was a former 4-H leader at Holton. Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 9 at 11am at the Hopewell Baptist Church with Rev. David Shivers officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday from 9:30am until time of services at the church. Memorials may be given to the Hopewell Cemetery in care of the Stratton-Karsteter Funeral Home in Versailles.
