Allie Hacker, 76, of Versailles, formerly of Holton passed away Tuesday, December 5, 2006 at the Dearborn County Hospital in Lawrenceburg. She was born at Manchester, Kentucky on December 16, 1929 the daughter of Robert and Lizzie Keith Sizemore. She was married to Carlo Hacker on May 29, 1948 and he preceded her in death on July 12, 2001. Survivors include one son Charles Hacker of Columbus; one daughter Carolyn Moreland and her husband Butch of Tipton; 6 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren; one brother Woodie Sizemore of Versailles; four sisters, Mayme Renfro of Holton, Myrtle Lainhart of Holton, Martha Scott of Virginia, and Shirley Keeton, of Versailles who was her special care giver for the last four years. She was also preceded in death by her parents, brothers Craft, Frank, Vernon, and John Sizemore, sisters Vergie Baker, Esther Baker, and Jeanette Druschel. Mrs. Hacker was a former employee of US Shoe at Osgood where she worked as a seamstress. She had also worked for Avon Products of Springdale, Ohio. She was an avid doll collector and an accomplished seamstress having made clothes for her many nieces and nephews. She also enjoyed crafts and attending auctions. Funeral services will be held Friday, December 8 at 11am at the Holton United Methodist Church with Rev. Charles Cole of the Dabney Baptist Church officiating. Burial will be in the Holton Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 5pm to 8pm at the Stratton-Karsteter Funeral Home in Versailles and from 10am until time of services at the church. Memorials may be given to the Holton Cemetery.
