Angela Mitchell Sharp

Angela Mitchell Sharp, 55, of Milan passed away Wednesday, November 7, 2012 at the Margaret Mary Community Hospital in Batesville. She was born at Martin in Floyd County, Kentucky on January 21, 1957 the daughter of Howard and Lola Newsome Mitchell. She was married to Gene Sharp on June 10, 1998 and he survives. Other survivors include her mother Lola Mitchell of Versailles; daughter Tammy (Larry) Witte of Dillsboro; step-son Jason Sharp of Seymour; grandchildren Sierra and Hunter Witte; step-grandchildren; two sisters Donetta (Jim) Benham and Melissa (Kurt) Dunagan both of Benham. She was preceded in death by her father. Mrs. Sharp was a 1975 graduate of South Ripley High School. Angela was a former employee of Ohio Rod in Versailles, Valeo in Greensburg, and was currently employed with the Hollywood Casino in Lawrenceburg. Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 10 at 10am at the Stratton-Karsteter Funeral Home in Versailles with Rev. Ron Lee officiating. Burial will be in the Benham Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 5pm to 8pm. Memorials may be given to the Benham Cemetery in care of the funeral home.
