Ann Ruggles, 84, of Versailles passed away Wednesday, September 21, 2005 at the Margaret Mary Hospital in Batesville. She was born near Grayson in Boyd County, Kentucky on March 18, 1921 the daughter of Edward and Celia Nolan Fryer. She was married to Herbert Ruggles on August 26, 1944 and he survives. Other survivors include two sons, Virgil Ruggles and his wife Carol J. Ruggles of Osgood, Donald Ruggles and his wife Carol A. Ruggles of Lincoln City, Indiana; two daughters, Kathy Bohlander and her husband Bruce of Avon, and Janie Grigsby and Willie of Versailles; thirteen grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren; one brother Jim Fryer of Pierceville; four sisters, Maudie Morgan and Katherine Elliott both of Tampa, Florida, Theresa Selke of Kokomo, and Josie Johnson of Napoleon. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Leonard Fryer and her sisters Goldie Lee, Lucille Broughtman, Lois Hudson, and Hazel Fryer. Mrs. Ruggles was a homemaker and a member of the Cedar Creek Community Church. Funeral services will be held Sunday, September 25 at 3pm at the Cedar Creek Community Church with Rev. Garland Rudd officiating. Visitation will be Sunday from 1pm until time of services at the church. Burial will be in the Cliff Hill Cemetery in Versailles. Memorials may be given to the Cliff Hill Cemetery in care of the funeral home.
