Anna Mae Bowers Hull, 84 of Milan passed away January 5, 2015 at Ripley Crossing in Milan. She was born January 17, 1930 in Rushville, Indiana to Lester and Floy (Mills) Bowers. She worked for over 30 years for Bovards Funeral Home. She was a member of Milan United Methodist Church, Milan United Methodist Women, and the Rebekah Lodge. Anna Mae will be remembered for her love for her family and friends. She enjoyed baking cakes and decorating them and making candy and cookies for all at Christmas time. Anna Mae is survived by her devoted husband Alvin Hull; children Duane Blessing of Indianapolis, Debbie (David) Trotter of Marysville, Tim Blessing of Indianapolis, and Dennis (Becky) Blessing of Plymouth, Michigan; step children Marilyn (Dennis) Hadler of Greensburg, and Darrell (Gracie) Hull and Lloyd (Barb) Hull both of Columbus; grandchildren: Tyler, Dustin Blessing, Anna, Sarah Trotter, Mamie Blessing, step grandchildren: Stacey, Michelle, Christine, Jennifer, Cameron, great grandchildren Kaylee, Lucas, Emma and Jase and several step great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents and brothers Walter Bowers and Harold Bowers. Funeral services will be Friday, January 9 at 11 am at the Milan United Methodist Church. Burial will be at Hopewell Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 4pm to 8pm at the Stratton-Karsteter Funeral Home in Versailles and on Friday from 10am until time of services at the church. Memorials may be given to the Milan United Methodist Women or the Alzheimer's Association in care of the funeral home.
