Barbara Canada

**Barbara Canada**, 57, of Dabney passed away Saturday, April 21, 2007 at St. Vincent's Hospital in Carmel. She was born at Madison on June 11, 1949 the daughter of Charles Raymond and Mary Belle Hawkins Turner. She was married to Larry Canada on June 29, 1985 and he survives. Other survivors include one daughter Christy Scoggins and her husband Steve of Holton, one son Donald Clark, Jr. and his wife Rhonda of Holton; step-sons Randy Canada and his wife Brenda of Mt. Vernon, Bill Canada and Jennifer of Princeton, North Carolina, Jerry and Carrie Canada of Lafayette, and Tim and Gwen Canada of Madison; thirteen grandchildren, two brothers, Randy Turner and his wife Donna of Vevay, Terry Turner and Luann of Rising Sun; three sisters, Sherry Griffin of LaGrange, Kentucky, Donna Herald and her husband Doug of Burlington, Kentucky, and Janice and James Bales of Tell City. Mrs. Canada was a member of the New Life Pentecostal Church in North Vernon. She was formerly employed with US Shoe in Osgood and Madison and also with Delta Faucet in Greensburg. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, April 25 11am at the Stratton-Karsteter Funeral Home in Versailles. Burial will be in the Dabney Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday from 5pm to 8pm. Memorials may be given to the donor's choice.
