**Bertha E. Miller,**
85, of Versailles
passed away Sunday, June 24, 2012 at her
home. She was born near Napoleon on April 28, 1927 the
daughter of Joseph and Margaret Bultman Rimstidt. She was
married to Dennis Miller on January 10, 1950 and he
preceded her in death on August 20, 1997. Survivors
include one son Wayne (Beverly) Miller of Versailles;
three daughters Theresa (James) Meyer of Versailles, Rita
Mozingo and Thelma Chalmers both of Greensburg; 7
grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren; one brother
Warren Rimstidt of Ottawa, Illinois. She was also preceded
in death by her daughter Barbara, her parents, 2
grandchildren, her sisters Floriene Engle and Elsie Engle,
and her brothers Jim and Earl Rimstidt. Mrs. Miller was a
1945 graduate of Napoleon High School and was a member of
St. John's Catholic Church in Osgood. She served as an
administrative secretary for the Ripley County Red Cross
from 1998 to 2010. She was also a former employee of
Negengard's five and dime in Osgood and the Osgood Dry
Cleaners. Bertha enjoyed her family, playing bingo, and
following the Cincinnati Reds. Funeral services will be
held Friday, June 29
at 10am at the
Stratton-Karsteter Funeral Home in Versailles with Rev.
Don Buck of the First Baptist Church in Osgood
officiating. Burial will be in the Greendale Cemetery at
Osgood. Visitation will be Thursday from 5pm to 8pm.
Memorials may be given to the American Cancer Society or
the Greendale Cemetery in care of the funeral home.
