Bertha M. Weber, 98, of Napoleon passed away Friday, February 24, 2006 at the Hospitality Hall in Batesville. She was born at Greensburg on August 3, 1907 the daughter of Clifford and Georgia Ann Smith English. She was married to Clarence Weber on January 16, 1930 and he preceded her in death on October 28, 1977. She was also preceded in death by her daughter Joan Redelman, her brothers John English and Tony English, and her sisters Josie Pool, May Crume, Stella English, Sarah Platt, and Mary English. Mrs. Weber was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Napoleon. She had worked as a custodian at the Napoleon School and had also served as church custodian for 17 years. Funeral services will be held Monday, February 27 at 3pm at St. John's Lutheran Church with Pastor Gary Groth officiating. Visitation will be from 2pm until time of services at the church. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Memorials may be given to St. John's Building Fund. The Stratton-Karsteter Funeral Home in Versailles is in charge of the arrangements.
