Betty Katherine Grubbs

**Betty Katherine Grubbs,** 76, of Versailles passed away Saturday January 25 at Community Hospital East in Indianapolis. She was born September 18, 1926 at Connersville the daughter of Everett and Beulah Tolar Goldey. Mrs. Grubbs is survived by one son Michael Metcalf of Boston; five daughters; Sherryl Bowling of Harrison, Cynthia Strunk and her husband David of Versailles, Debbie Smith of Versailles, Linda Guyer of Bowling Green, Ohio, and Karen Cervone of Pittsburgh; 18 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, and one great-great granddaughter, one brother and two sisters. She was retired from US Shoe in Harrison. Funeral services will be held Wednesday January 29 at 2pm at the Stratton-Karsteter Funeral Home in Versailles with Rev. Pearl Cornett officiating. Calling will be from 11am until time of services. Memorials may be given to the Heart Fund.
