Beulah E. Lamb,
97, of Versailles
passed away Wednesday, November 6, 2013
at the Manderley Health Care Center in Osgood. She was
born at Morgantown, Indiana on January 9, 1916 the
daughter of James and Belle Rhodes Whitaker. She was
married to Keith Lamb on January 24, 1935 and he preceded
her in death on February 19, 1990. Survivors include one
son Larry (Patricia) Lamb of Poway, California; one
daughter Margaret Evans of Greenwood; 8 grandchildren, 15
great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren. She
was also preceded in death by her parents, her daughter
Norma Bishop, and her son-in-law Donald Evans. Mrs. Lamb
was a homemaker and a former employee of the Colonial
Cottage Restaurant in Versailles. Beulah was a member of
the Cedar Creek Community Church near Osgood. Funeral
services will be held Saturday, November 9
1pm at the Stratton-Karsteter Funeral Home in Versailles
with Rev. Garland Rudd officiating. Burial will be in the
Cliff Hill Cemetery in Versailles. Visitation will be
Saturday from 12pm until time of services. Memorials may
be given to the donor's choice.
