Beulah (Boots) Zarnoch

**Beulah (Boots) Zarnoch,** 85, of Versailles passed away Monday at the Margaret Mary Community Hospital in Batesville. She was born at Harrison, Ohio on May 25, 1917 the daughter of William and Pearl Allgood Smith. She was married to Walter Zarnoch in 1936 and he preceded her in death on August 31, 1978. Survivors include one son John Zarnoch of Versailles; daughters Nancy Jane Norman of Milan, Beverly Rodgers of Versailles, and Patricia Thomas and her husband Charlie of Friendship; 11 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, and 7 great great grandchildren; one sister Martha Petree of Harrison. She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother and one sister. Mrs. Zarnoch formerly worked at the Friendship Tavern and Vines Poultry in Osgood. She was a member of the Bear Creek Baptist Church in Friendship. Funeral services will be held Friday November 22 at 10:30 am at the Bear Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Sherman Hughes officiating. Calling will be Thursday November 21 from 5pm to 8pm at the Stratton Karsteter Funeral Home in Versailles and from 9:30am until time of services at the church on Friday. Burial will be in the Akers Friendship Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the donors choice.
