Beverly Ann (Jackson) Mcneelan 79 Of Whiteland

Beverly Ann (Jackson) McNeelan, 79, of Whiteland passed away Thursday, May 9, 2014 at Franciscan St. Francis Hospital in Indianapolis. She was born April 30, 1935 in the Tanglewood community, Indiana to Eldon Ethan Jackson and Goldah Ann (Little) Jackson. She married Martin J. McNeelan on January 30, 1954 in Dabney, Indiana, and he survives. She was a 1953 graduate of Holton High School. She was a member of Hopewell Baptist Church in Holton, and attended Community Congregational Church in Franklin. She was also a member of the Order of the Eastern Star #333 in Versailles, Indiana. She enjoyed family, gardening, reading, traveling, boating, scuba diving, fishing and flying. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother who faithfully represented the wife and mother in Proverbs 31. Most recently, she had been a realtor with her husband Martin at Remax Select Realtors in Greenwood for thirteen years. Survivors include her husband Martin J. McNeelan of Whiteland; two sons Martin J. McNeelan, Jr. (Jackie) of Whiteland and Mikel J. McNeelan of Belleair Bluff, Florida; three daughters Becky A. Pulley (Andy) of Falls River, Massachusetts; Babs A. Hull (Mike) of Greenwood; Brenda Fields (Jerry) of Whiteland; and thirteen grandchildren, twenty great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She is also survived by siblings Lloyd Jackson of Indianapolis, Frank Jackson (Sharon) of Bargersville, Ethan Jackson (Joyce) of Indianapolis, Rollin Jackson (Juanita) of Greenwood, and one sister Beth Jackson Taylor of Montgomery, Alabama. She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother Larry Jackson and two sisters Winifred Jackson Smith and Janet Jackson. The Reverend Dan McLaughlin will conduct a service Tuesday at 10:30 AM at Community Congregational Church, 4592 Hurricane Road in Franklin. Friends may call Monday from 4-8 PM at Swartz Family Community Mortuary and Memorial Center 300 South U.S. 31 (Morton Street) in Franklin and Tuesday from 9:30 AM till the 10:30 AM service time at the church. A graveside service will follow on Tuesday at 2:30 PM at Holton Cemetery in Holton, Indiana with burial to follow.
