Blanche Craigmile

**Blanche Craigmile**, 65, of Holton passed away at 4:50 a.m., Saturday, July 27, 2024 at the Margaret Mary Community Hospital in Batesville. She was born in Austin on October 28, 1958, the daughter of Barry and Tina Turner Fox. She was married to Josh Craigmile and he survives. Other survivors include her daughter Genny, her brother Randall Fox, and her sister Norma Jean McVey. She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister Darlene Barrett. She worked for many years as a CNA and finished her working years at McDonald's in Versailles. She was a devout Christian, spending much of her time studying and following the Word of the Lord. She loved flowers, nature and bird watching, learning the songs of the many birds that frequented her yard. She was an amazing cook and her fried potatoes and cornbread will not be forgotten. A special thank you to her neighbors, Carl and Katherine Taul, Royce Norton, and Debbie who came together to help Josh at this difficult time. Graveside services will be held at the convenience of the family at the Hopewell Cemetery. The Stratton-Karsteter Funeral Home in Versailles is in charge of arrangements.
