Brenda Sue Walker

Brenda Sue Walker, 56, of Versailles passed away Friday, June 1, 2012 at her home. She was born in Columbus, Indiana on June 26, 1955 the daughter of Herman and Betty Heck Wilson. She was married to Terry Walker on January 25, 1977 and he survives. Other survivors include one daughter Brooke (Josh) Burkman of Versailles; grandchildren Evan, Avery, Bayla, and Max; two brothers Gene (Bev) Wilson of Columbus and Gary Wilson of Seymour; five sisters Caolyne Harden, Sharon (Larry) Kelley, Barbara Shouse, Connie (Jody) Ballard all of Columbus, and Wanda Fritz of Kokomo; her mother and father-in-law Chester and June Walker of Versailles; sister-in-law Pam (Chris) Kohlmeier of Milan; brothers-in-law Jerry (Debbie), Tom, and Tony Walker all of Versailles. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother Jimmy Wilson. Mrs. Walker was a 1974 graduate of Columbus East High School and was an 18 year employee with UPS in Versailles. Brenda was a member of the New Testament Christian Church in Osgood. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, June 14 at 3pm at the New Testament Christian Church in Osgood with Irvin Hart officiating. Visitation will be from 1pm until time of services. Memorials may be given to the New Testament Christian Church in care of the Stratton-Karsteter Funeral Home in Versailles.
