Bruce L. Becker

Bruce L. Becker, 65, of Milan, passed away Saturday, November 28, 2020 at University Hospital, Cincinnati, Ohio. Bruce was born September 4, 1955 the son of John J. and Cloetta Becker. He graduated from Finneytown High School in 1974. After high school, Bruce attended Cincinnati State and then became a security guard at Jewish Hospital and UC Health, where he worked until his death. Bruce was a volunteer fireman and EMT for North College Hill. He also worked at Perfect North Slopes as a ski instructor, since its opening. He married Heidi J. Becker on October 21, 1995 and she survives. Bruce enjoyed skiing, his dogs, camping and fishing, and he loved spending time with his family. Bruce is survived by his wife, Heidi, of 25 years and their son, Johnathan, of Milan. He is also survived by his brother Robert of Cincinnati, OH. A service celebrating his life will be held at Stratton-Karsteter Funeral Home in Versailles, IN. Visitation will be Wednesday, December 2 from 5-7 pm and funeral Thursday, December 3 at 10:30 am. Bruce will be laid to rest at St. Charles Cemetery, Milan, Indiana. Memorials may be given to Milan Volunteer Fire Department or donor's choice.
