Bruce O. Richardson

Bruce O. Richardson, 66, of Osgood passed away Monday, April 14, 2014 at the Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis. He was born at Taylorsville in Spencer County, Kentucky on October 3, 1947 the son of Vernon and Rose Ann Harley Richardson. He was married to Louella Cummings on December 31, 1977 and she survives. Other survivors include three daughters Amy (Jason) Richardson-Lambert of Greensburg, April (Josh) Richardson-Kissell of Versailles, and Alisha (Adam) Eadens of Versailles; 4 grandchildren; one nephew Jason Richardson of Manilla. He was preceded in death by his parents, his step-father James Perry, and his brothers Lloyd Richardson and Roy Allen Richardson. Mr. Richardson was a 1966 graduate of Jac-Cen-Del High School. He worked for 13 years for the Ripley County Farm Bureau Co-op and then worked for an additional 13 years for Wal-Mart in Greensburg. Bruce was also a Ham Radio operator. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 17 at 11am at the Stratton-Karsteter Funeral Home in Versailles. Burial will be in the Grandview Memorial Garden near Madison. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 5pm to 8pm. Memorials may be given to the Ripley County Humane Society or the donor's choice in care of the funeral home.
