Charles Alan Bustle

Charles Alan Bustle, 64, of Versailles passed away Thursday, June 27, 2024 at his home. He was born in Madison on February 21, 1960, the son of Charles and Norma Jane Pratt Bustle. He was married to Deborah Joyner on May 10, 1997. Other survivors include his mother Norma Jane Hopper of Versailles; his daughter Stacy Ann of Seymour; his son Jason (Lori) of Scottsburg; one brother John Bustle of Maysville, Michigan; two sisters Sharon Whitham of Madison and Darla Downey of Holton; 8 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, and his sisters Victoria Lynn Bustle and Phyllis McEvoy. Mr. Bustle attended school at Holton and South Ripley. He was a former employee of Meisberger Forestry Consultants at Holton and had also worked for Hilex in North Vernon. Alan enjoyed fishing, hunting, and playing cards. A celebration of Alan's life will be held on Friday, July 5 from 1p.m. to 2 p.m. at the Stratton-Karsteter Funeral Home in Versailles with burial following at the Cliff Hill Cemetery in Versailles. Memorials may be given to the donor's choice in care of the funeral home.
