Charles L. Mcroberts

Charles McRoberts, 65, of North Vernon passed away at 6:35am Saturday, December 19, 2015 at the Jennings St. Vincent Hospital in North Vernon. He was born at Elwood, Indiana on August 22, 1950 the son of William and Anna Stroud McRoberts. He was married to Frances Moore on August 13, 1976 and she survives. Other survivors include four sons Charles Jr. (Angel) McRoberts and Bill McRoberts both of Versailles, Frank McRoberts and Gene (Michelle) McRoberts both of North Vernon, and Joseph Denton of Lexington, Tennessee; grandchildren; two brothers Louis (Mary) McRoberts of Crawfordsville and Leonard McRoberts of North Vernon; one sister Christina (Ray) Jones of North Vernon. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother William. Mr. McRoberts was a former employee of the Jennings County Highway Department. Funeral services will be held on Tues, December 22 at 11am at the Stratton-Karsteter Funeral Home in Versailles with Pastor Bob McCreary of the Holton Christian Church officiating. Burial will be in the Zenas Cemetery. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 10am until time of services. Memorials may be given to the donor's choice in care of the funeral home.
