Charles H. Meyers

Charles H. Meyers, 91, of Versailles passed away Saturday, May 10, 2014 at the Waters of Dillsboro Manor. He was born in Osgood on April 1, 1923 the son of Charles H. and Laura Hess Meyers. He was married to Beatrice Wells in 1963 and she preceded him in death on April 29, 1998. Survivors include three sons Kevan Meyers of Dillsboro, Charles L. Meyers of Cincinnati, and Michael Meyers of Glenwood, Minnesota; one daughter Tamela Broad of Winamac. Mr. Meyers worked on the bottling floor at Seagrams for 30 years retiring in 1985. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, May 13 at 11am at the Stratton-Karsteter Funeral Home in Versailles with Rev. Mike Cantrell of the Versailles Baptist Church officiating. Burial will be in the Shelby Cemetery. Visitation will also be on Tuesday from 10am until time of services. Memorials may be given to the Shelby Cemetery in care of the funeral home.
