Charles E. Mulford, 65, of Osgood
passed away Sunday,
August 17, 2003 at his residence. He was born at Friendship on June 13, 1938,
the son of Clarence and Margaret Spatz Mulford. He was married to Linda Hudson
on June 2, 1961 and she survives. Other survivors include two sons, Tim Mulford
of Greensburg and Scott Mulford and his wife Sandy of Versailles; three
daughters, Teresa Holman and her friend Ray Meeker, Missy Keith and her husband
Tim, and Mindy Gunter and her husband Wayne, all of Osgood; two brothers, Jim
Mulford and his wife Wilma of Versailles, and Don Mulford and his wife Mary Ann
of Ft. Worth, Texas; one sister, Marian Weaver of Franklin; father and
mother-in-law Ed and Betty Hudson of Seymour and eleven grandchildren. He was
preceded in death by his parents and his brother Joe Mulford. Mr. Mulford was a
plasterer for Halcombs for many years and was retired from Batesville Casket.
He was an Army veteran and a member of the Cedar Creek Community Church.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, August 20
at 11am at the
Stratton Karsteter Funeral Home in Versailles with Rev. Garland Rudd and Rev.
Rodney Osborne officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday, August 19 from 5pm to
8pm at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Greendale Cemetery at Osgood.
Memorials may be given to the Hospice of Decatur County or the Cancer Fund.
