Charles "Rainbow" Reubel

**Charles "Rainbow" Reubel**, 70, of Indianapolis, formerly of Versailles passed away Thursday, May 30, 2019 at his home. He was born in Indianapolis on March 3, 1949 the son of Charles J. and Cleo Reubel. He was preceded in death by his parents and there are no immediate survivors. Mr. Reubel was a 1967 graduate of South Ripley High School. He was an Army veteran of the Vietnam War where he served in Germany from 1970 to 1975. For service to his country Charles received the National Defense Medal. In his working career Charles was a truck driver, retiring from Trailer Transit in Indianapolis in 2007. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 4 beginning at 10am at the Stratton-Karsteter Funeral Home in Versailles. Graveside services will follow at 12pm at the Indiana Veterans Cemetery in Madison. Memorials may be given to the donor's choice in care of the funeral home.
