Chelsa D. Simon

Chelsa D. Simon, 27, of Osgood passed away Saturday, May 28, 2005 near New Marion as the result of an accident. She was born at Batesville March 26, 1978 the daughter of Jim and Cindy Ahrens Simon. Survivors include her parents Jim and Cindy Simon of Osgood; her son Dalton Simon at home; paternal grandparents Don and Ola Simon of Osgood; maternal grandparents Mervin and Margie Ahrens of Batesville; brothers Dustin, Shane, and Kane Simon all of Osgood. Ms. Simon was a member of the Adams Lutheran Church and a 1997 graduate of Jac-Cen-Del High School. She worked as a receptionist for the Manderley Health Care Center in Osgood. Funeral services will be held Thursday, June 2 at 10am at the Adams Lutheran Church near Batesville with Pastor William Powlen officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday, June 1 from 4pm to 8pm at the Stratton-Karsteter Funeral Home in Versailles. Memorials may be given to the Dalton Simon Fund in care of the funeral home.
