Chris Jones

Chris Jones, 65, of High Point, North Carolina passed away Wednesday, May 20, 2009 at the High Point Regional Hospital. He was born at Bright Shade, Kentucky on August 21, 1943 the son of Otis and Elva Mills Jones. He was married to Rachel Caffee on August 13, 1983 and she survives. Other survivors include one son Mike Jones and one daughter Melanie Jones both of Batesville; 3 grandchildren; one brother John Jones of Greensburg; two sisters Theola Webster of Lawrenceburg and Allene Cartee of Los Angeles. He was preceded in death by his parents. Mr. Jones was a self-employed furniture product engineer. Graveside services will be held Sunday, May 24 at 2pm at the Shelby Cemetery with Rev. Garland Rudd of the Cedar Creek Community Church officiating. Memorials may be given to the Heart Strides Scholarship fund in care of the Stratton-Karsteter Funeral Home in Versailles.
