Clinton T. Day

Clinton T. Day, 57, of Versailles passed away Monday, November 08, 2010 at his home. He was born at Milan on April 16, 1953 the son of Harlan and Effie Jones Day. Survivors include his twin brother Clayton of Versailles, and his brother Norman (Brenda) Day of Osgood; one sister Becky (Jerry) Hunteman of North Vernon; his uncles Dale (LaVerne), Joe (Peggy), and Tom (Lorine) Day all of Versailles; his aunts Pruda Setser of Versailles, Lillie Hisle of Greenfield, and Pauline (Irvin) Hart of Versailles. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brothers Denver, Wendell, and Dexter Day. Mr. Day was a 1973 graduate of South Ripley High School. He was a 32 year employee of Ohio Rod in Versailles and had been a former employee of the Versailles IGA. He was a member of the Bethany Baptist Church in Osgood. Funeral services will be held Friday at 11am at the Stratton-Karsteter Funeral Home in Versailles with Dale Day officiating. Burial will be in the Shelby Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 9am until time of services. Memorials may be given to the donors choice.
