Ronnie D. May, 60, of Versailles passed away Tuesday, December 23, 2014 at Christ Hospital in Cincinnati. He was born at Batesville on May 18, 1954 the son of Stanley and Catherine Farrell May. He was married to Theresa Jewell on June 21, 1975 and she survives. Other survivors include his mother Catherine May of Versailles; one son Jared D. May of Osgood; one daughter Crystal (Charles) Raison also of Osgood; one sister Linda (Barry) Borter of Holton; four brothers Gerald (Elena) May of Parrish, Florida, Eddie May of Jamestown, and Richard (Betty) May and David (Melissa) May both of Versailles. He was preceded in death by his father. Mr. May was a 1973 graduate of South Ripley High School. He retired after 37 years with Delta Faucet and was currently working as a plant operator for Best Metal Finishing in Osgood. Ronnie was a member of the Cedar Creek Community Church and the Heartland Classic Cruisers Car Club. He was an avid bowler and fisherman. Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 29th at 11am at the Stratton-Karsteter Funeral Home in Versailles. Burial will be in the New Marion Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday from 3pm to 7pm. Memorials may be given to the New Marion Cemetery or the donor's choice in care of the funeral home.
