**Daryl E. Stutler**, 75, of Milan passed away Sunday, March 25, 2012 at the Margaret Mary Community Hospital in Batesville. He was born near Milan on July 7, 1936 the son of Arnold and Laura Elrod Stutler. He was married to Dolly McClure on May 23, 1959 and she survives. Other survivors include two sons Jeff (Jeri) Stutler and Chris Stutler both of Milan; granddaughters Karisa (Brian) Voss, Kayla Stutler, and Kelly Stutler all of Milan; great-grandchildren Ethan, Braden, Jackson, and Emma Voss; two brothers Gary (Judy) Stutler of Friendship and Ronald (Janet) Stutler of Versailles; two sisters Roberta Ashcraft of Milan and Margie (Bud) Stevens of Moores Hill. He was preceded in death by his parents, and his brothers Wallace, Merle, and Ernest Stutler. Mr. Stutler was a 1955 graduate of Milan High School and was a truck driver for Quality Carriers in Indianapolis. He was also a former employee of Thatcher Glass in Lawrenceburg and owned and operated JDS Carton Assembly plants in Saginaw, Michigan and Peoria, Illinois and also owned and operated Stutler Paving in Milan. Daryl was a member of the Milan Masonic Lodge and the First Southern Baptist Church in Versailles. Funeral services will be held Friday, March 30 at 10am at the Stratton-Karsteter Funeral Home in Versailles with Rev. Carter Corbrey officiating. Burial will be in the Cliff Hill Cemetery in Versailles. Visitation will be Thursday from 5pm to 8pm. Memorials may be given to the First Southern Baptist Church in care of the funeral home.
