Deborah A. Young

**Deborah A. Young**, 52, of Osgood passed away Friday, February 1, 2008 at her home. She was born at Greensburg on January 22, 1956 the daughter of Wallace and Betty Dugle Shafer. She was married to Dale Young on September 18, 1976 and he survives. Other survivors include three daughters, Lisa (Steve) Ruble of Connersville, Melissa (Barry) Pavy of Greensburg, and Teresa Young of Osgood; grandchildren Vincent and Elizabeth Pavy, Devin, Ashley, Sara, and Carmen Ruble, and Stephanie Young; one brother, David (Judy) Shafer of Greensburg; two sisters, Pamela (Jerry) Keller and Penny (Harry) Clift both of Greensburg; her father and mother-in-law Alfred and Rita Young of Osgood. Mrs. Young was a 32 year employee of Delta Faucet in Greensburg, retiring in 2007. She was a member of St. John's Catholic Church in Osgood. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, February 5 at 10am at St. John's with Father Shawn Whittington officiating. Burial will be in St. Maurice's Cemetery in Napoleon. Visitation will be held Monday from 5pm to 8pm at the Stratton-Karsteter Funeral Home in Versailles with Rosary services at 8pm. Memorials may be given to St. John's Catholic Church or the Decatur County Hospice in care of the funeral home.
