Dilver J. Knigga,
83, of Tell City, formerly of Napoleon
passed away Wednesday,
July 22, 2015 at the Oakwood Health Campus in Tell City. He
was born near Dillsboro on April 29, 1932 the son of Charles
and Bertha Rump Knigga. He was married to Eileen Bodenberg on
August 20, 1960 and she survives. Other survivors include
three daughters Connie (Tom) Holm of Tell City, Becky Leedy of
Scottsburg, and Amy (Ray) Burton of Osgood; 6 grandchildren
and 8 great-grandchildren; one sister Esther (Leon) Berner of
Cross Plains. He was preceded in death by his parents. Mr.
Knigga was a 1950 graduate of Vevay High School. He had
formerly worked as the office manager for the Ripley County
Farm Bureau Co-op in Osgood. He also was employed for several
years as a sales representative for the Thomas D. Murphy
Company of Red Oak, Iowa selling promotional items to
businesses. Dilver was a member of the St. Paul Lutheran
Church in Olean. Funeral services will be held at the
convenience of the family with burial in St. Peters Cemetery
at Olean. Memorials may be given to the St. Paul Lutheran
Church or St. Peters Cemetery in care of the
Stratton-Karsteter Funeral Home in Versailles.
