Donald Manning, 72, of Versailles
passed away Sunday, September 12, 2004 at his residence. He was born at Mace, Indiana on April 9, 1932 the son of Russie and Mary Royse Manning. He was married to Shirley Elliott on April 9, 1993 and she survives. Other survivors include two sons Rusty Manning of Kokomo and Keith Manning and his wife Diana of Oxford; three daughters, Terry Dahlgren and her husband Dan of Cicero, Brenda Roe and Dan of Lafayette, and Pam Wagner and Charley of Baltimore; one stepson, Brad Walker and his wife Rebecca of Louisville, one step daughter Fern Baumer and her husband John of Batesville; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; three sisters, Irene Haynes of Bradenton, Florida, Vada Isenberg of Jackson, Tennessee, and Tona Pullen of Plant City, Florida. Mr. Manning was an Engineer for the Chrysler Corp. of Kokomo for 31 years retiring in 1987. He was also an Air Force veteran of Korea. Funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family. The Stratton-Karsteter Funeral Home of Versailles was in charge of arrangements.
