Donna Sue Nugent

**Donna Sue Nugent**, 81, of Versailles passed away at 2:30pm, Wednesday, October 12, 2022 at the Margaret Mary Community Hospital in Batesville. She was born in Milan on August 12, 1941, the daughter of Donald and Ina Patrick Creigmile. She was married to Randy Nugent on December 23, 1993 and he preceded her in death on April 22, 2020. Survivors include two children, six grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren; one sister Janet (Dennis) Schwanholt of Versailles; one brother Kenneth Creigmile of Versailles; three step-children, and her special friend Brigetta. She was also preceded in death by her parents, her brother Danny Creigmile, and her sisters-in-law Maxine and Faye Creigmile. Mrs. Nugent was a 1959 graduate of Versailles High School. Donna spent her working career of 35 years at Hill-Rom in Batesville. She was a caregiver at her home for many stray and homeless dogs. Donna loved spending time with her family and her friends at McDonalds. Graveside services will be held on Monday, October 17 at 11am at the Cliff Hill Cemetery in Versailles with Bro. Earl Thomas officiating. Memorials may be given to the Ripley County Humane Society in care of the Stratton-Karsteter Funeral Home in Versailles.
