Dorothy Dilk, 90, of Versailles passed away Monday, April 20, 2015 at the Floyd County Memorial Hospital in New Albany. She was born at Hazard, Kentucky on November 9, 1924 the daughter of Fred and Gladys Thomas Johnson. She was married to Nelson Dilk on December 16, 1942 and he preceded her in death on March 21, 2012. Survivors include one daughter Patty Campbell of Pekin; one son Marvin Dilk of Holton; 10 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren; two sisters Juanita Singleton of North Vernon and Kathleen (Louis) Holly of Bowling Green, Kentucky; one brother Louis Johnson of North Vernon. She was also preceded in death by her son Eddie Dilk, grandchildren Jimmy Campbell and Christina Dilk, her brothers Stanford, Palmer, Carroll, and Donald Johnson, and her sisters Eugenia Riddle, Arveta Sutton, and Josephine Smith. Mrs. Dilk was employed with Reliance Electric in Madison for 25 years retiring in 1986. Dorothy was a homemaker and a member of the First Southern Baptist Church in Versailles. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 25th at 10:30am at the Stratton-Karsteter Funeral Home with Pastor Shane Morgan and Bro. Chris Campbell officiating. Burial will be in the Marble Corner Cemetery at Versailles. Visitation will be Friday from 5pm to 8pm. Memorials may be given to the Marble Corner Cemetery in care of the funeral home.
