Dorothy Henderson

**Dorothy Henderson, 73, of Osgood** passed away Wednesday, April 14, 2010 at her home. She was born near Osgood on February 15, 1937 the daughter of Frank and Florence Hankins Monroe. She was married to Harry Henderson on August 27, 1955 and he survives. Other survivors include one son Jim Henderson of Osgood. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brothers Marion, Donald, Gerald, Clarence, Leroy, Wayne, and Ray Monroe, and her sisters Mildred Monroe, Mabel Hartig, Beatrice Harlin, Gladys Curry, Beulah Monroe, and Ruby Daugherty. Mrs. Henderson was a former employee of the Delaney Wood Heel Factory in Versailles and was a member of the Cedar Creek Community Church. Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 17 10:30am at the Stratton-Karsteter Funeral Home in Versailles with Rev. Garland Rudd officiating. Burial will be in the Cliff Hill Cemetery in Versailles. Visitation will be Friday from 5pm to 8pm. Memorials may be given to the Diabetes Association or the Cedar Creek Church in care of the funeral home.
