Earnest F. Brison

Earnest F. Brison, 68, of Delaware passed away Saturday, February 5, 2011 at the Margaret Mary Community Hospital in Batesville. He was born at Jeffersonville on July 11, 1942 the son of George and Helen Hostettler Brison. He was married to Mary Noel on April 9, 1968 and she survives. Other survivors include four sons John (Chrissy) Brison of Benham, Justin (Amanda) Brison of Delaware, George Brison of Charlestown, and Kelly Brison of Charlestown; one daughter Joy Faulkner of Minnesota; 7 grandchildren; two sisters Helene Adcock and Delores "Pill" Pearson both of North Vernon; one brother Bob (Cathy) Brison of Nebraska. He was preceded in death by his parents, his son Christopher, and his sister Anna Mae Lozier. Mr. Brison was a self-employed mechanic and operated Brison's Garage in Delaware for 40 years. He had also worked at Hoosier Auto Parts in Osgood. Memorial services will be held Saturday, February 19 at 1pm at the Hope Baptist Church near Dillsboro with Pastor Tom Holt officiating. Memorials may be given to the donors choice in care of the Stratton-Karsteter Funeral Home in Versailles.
