Elizabeth (Betty) Jean Walsh

Elizabeth (Betty) Jean Walsh, 85, of Holton passed away Friday, January 2, 2004 at the Manderley Health Care Center in Osgood. She was born at Junction City, Kansas on April 6, 1918 the daughter of Lloyd and Hazel Rathbone Wallace. She was married to Norman Walsh on August 12, 1936 and he preceded her in death on December 22, 1990. She was also preceded in death by her parents and a sister. Mr. Walsh, a native of Ripley County, and Mrs. Walsh spent most of their married life in Livingston, Montana. Survivors include her brother-in-law John Leslie Walsh and his wife Ruth, and sister-in-law Selma Walsh all of Holton along with several nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held Saturday, January 10 at 3pm at the Holton Cemetery. The Stratton-Karsteter Funeral Home in Versailles is in charge of the arrangements.
