Elmer Davidson

**Elmer Davidson**, 92, of Osgood passed away Thursday, November 7, 2013 at the Manderley Health Care Center in Osgood. He was born at Manchester, Kentucky on August 28, 1921 the son of Millard and Etta Johnson Davidson. He was married to Lucy Norman and she preceded him in death on June 13, 1997. Survivors include three daughters Margie Penick and Doris Jean Otis both of Cincinnati, and June Shadday of Indianapolis; 15 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, his sons Carl, Nathaniel, and Gary Davidson, his brothers Harrison Davidson and Dewey Frazier, and his sister Alice Lee. Mr. Davidson retired from the Meier, Johan, and Wengler Foundry in Cincinnati where he worked as a core maker. Elmer was a member of the Pentecostal Holiness Church in Sunman. Funeral services will be held on Monday, November 11 at 11am at the Stratton-Karsteter Funeral Home in Versailles with Pastor Sue Hacker officiating. Burial will be in the Greendale Cemetery at Osgood. Visitation will be Monday from 10am until time of services. Memorials may be given to the Activity Fund of the Manderley Health Care Center in care of the funeral home.
