Emily A. Davis

Emily A. Davis, 66, of Versailles passed away Tuesday, September 18, 2007 at the Kings Daughters Hospital in Madison. She was born at Fairview in Switzerland County on May 20, 1941 the daughter of Carl H. and Edith Werner Smith. Survivors include one son Rocky Brandon and his wife Debbie of Madison; two daughters, Kimberly Goodpaster of Versailles and Jaime Laufer and her husband Jamie of Deputy; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; two sisters, Barbara Land of Greensburg and Darlene Heeke of Aurora. Ms. Davis was a 1959 graduate of Dillsboro High School and a 33 year employee of Delta Faucet in Greensburg. She was also a member of the Madison American Legion Auxiliary. Funeral services will be held Friday, September 21 at 10:30am at the Stratton-Karsteter Funeral Home in Versailles. Burial will be in the Cliff Hill Cemetery at Versailles. Visitation will be Thursday from 5pm to 8pm. Memorials may be given to the Hospice of Kings Daughters Hospital in care of the funeral home.
