Ernest Lee Fuehrer, 74, of Danville passed away Friday, November 21, 2014 at the Danville Regional Rehab Center. He was born near Cross Plains on May 9, 1940 the son of Paul and Nora Hankins Fuehrer. Survivors include two brothers Reece (Carolyn) Fuehrer of Danville and Danny (Helen) Fuehrer of Richmond, Kentucky; two sisters Pauline Macal of Anoka, Minnesota and Linda (Yogi) Henderson of Rockville, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Earl, Clifton, and Max Fuehrer, and his sisters Viola Fuehrer and Evelyn Griffith. Lee had been a resident of the rehab center since 1999 and enjoyed participating in the facility's activities including bingo and attending church services. He also enjoyed watching basketball and Colts football. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, November 25 at 1pm at the Stratton-Karsteter Funeral Home in Versailles with Dale Day officiating. Burial will be in the Benham Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday from 12pm until time of services. Memorials may be given to the Benham Cemetery in care of the funeral home.
