Faron Smith

Faron Smith, 40, of Madison passed away on July 22, 2013. He was born in Manitoba, Canada on April 21, 1973. Survivors include his father Lloyd Smith of Versailles, his mother Tina (Kim) Brinson of Versailles, step-mother Peggy Smith of Madison, brother Luke Smith, step-brothers Aaron Costin, and Josh Simm, step-sister Carrie Costin; grandparents Robert and Esther Smith, and Leola Brinson of Versailles. He was preceded in death by his sister Jennifer Smith, and his grandparents Leona LaPorte and Leroy Tubbs. Faron was a 1991 graduate of South Ripley High School and was a member of the Ojibwa Indian Tribe in Canada. Memorial services will be held on Friday, August 2 at 6pm at the Stratton-Karsteter Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 4pm until time of services.
