Faye Winters Creigmile

Faye Winters Creigmile, 72, of Versailles passed away Friday, August 31, 2012 at the Margaret Mary Community Hospital in Batesville. She was born in New Castle on March 19, 1940 the daughter of Vincent and Myrle Jacobs Rodgers. She was married to Danny Creigmile on December 31, 1994 and he survives. Other survivors include two sons Ricky (Sandra) Winters of Rexville and Clifford (Stefanie) Winters of Osgood; one daughter Cathy Brook of Sunman; one step-daughter Sherry (Danny) Bauer of Dillsboro; 16 grandchildren, 2 step-grandchildren, and 7 great-grandchildren; two sisters Ruth Ann (Phillip) Powell of Versailles and Linda Cunningham of Aurora; two brothers David (Faye) Rodgers of Madison and Ted (Mary Ann) Rodgers of Dillsboro. She was preceded in death by her parents, her sisters Marilyn June Skeen and Myrle Rodgers, and her brother Andy Rodgers. Faye was a 32 year employee of US Shoe in Osgood retiring in 1994 and was a member of the Versailles Church of Christ. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, September 4 at 11am at the Versailles Church of Christ with Dale Day officiating. Burial will be in the Cliff Hill Cemetery in Versailles. Visitation will be at the church beginning at 9:30am. Memorials may be given to the Versailles Church of Christ in care of the Stratton-Karsteter Funeral Home.
