Florence Marie "Cookie" Marsee

Florence Marie "Cookie" Marsee, 71, of Rexville passed away at 5:30 p.m., Tuesday, October 17, 2023 at her home. She was born in Greensburg on February 1, 1952 and was married to Charles Marsee on March 5, 1982 and he survives. Other survivors include one son Jason Clark of Rexville; two grandchildren Brooke and Cassidy; two sisters Barbara of Columbus and Gloria Knigga of Bear Branch. Cookie worked as a nurse's aid at The Waters in Batesville and retired after 15 years with J & J Packing in Sunman. Cookie was a member of the Shelby Christian Church. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, October 24 at 1 p.m. at the Shelby Christian Church with Tim Heim officiating. Burial will be in the Cliff Hill Cemetery in Versailles. Visitation will also be on Tuesday at the church beginning at 11 a.m. Memorials may be given to the church building fund in care of the Stratton-Karsteter Funeral Home in Versailles.
