Floyd Riggs

Floyd Riggs, 77, of Rexville passed away Thursday, January 27, 2011 at the Mercy South Hospital in Fairfield. He was born in Cleves, Ohio on May 11, 1933 the son of William and Gladys Riggs. He was married to Rita Lierer on August 30, 1952 and she survives. Other survivors include one son Floyd D. (Linda) Riggs of Batesville; one daughter Kathy Brenner of Medora; grandchildren Eric Riggs of Seymour and Matthew Brenner of Medora; one sister Mabel McQueese of Aurora. Mr. Riggs was a heavy equipment operator. He was an Army veteran of the Korean War and was a member of the Versailles American Legion. Funeral services will be held Monday, January 31 at 7pm at the Stratton-Karsteter Funeral Home in Versailles with Rev. Garland Rudd officiating. Visitation will be from 5pm until time of services. Memorials may be given to the donors choice.
