Gail A. Walker

**Gail A. Walker**, 77, of Versailles passed away at 4:55pm, Tuesday, February 27, 2018 at the Kings Daughters Hospital in Madison. She was born at Dayton, Ohio on July 1, 1940 the daughter of Robert and Gladys Glass Weikert. She was married to Frank Walker on October 29, 1977 and he survives. Other survivors include three sons John Hardy and Robert Hardy both of Cincinnati, and Jerry E. Walker of Holton; two daughters Diana Delmar of Holton and Teresa Johnson of Versailles; 5 grandchildren. Mrs. Walker was a graduate of the Dayton School of Nursing and worked 35 years as a registered nurse. During her career she worked as a surgical nurse at Bethesda North Hospital in Cincinnati and from 1985 until her retirement in 2001 she worked as a nurse at the Bob Hope Eye Center while she and Frank lived in Oklahoma City. Upon retirement Gail and Frank returned to their home near Versailles. Gail's wishes were to be cremated and services will be held at the convenience of the family. Memorials may be given to Rescue 69 in care of the Stratton-Karsteter Funeral Home in Versailles.
