Gary L. Setser

Gary L. Setser, 62, of Versailles, formerly of Hamilton, Ohio passed away Sunday, June 13, 2010 at the Kings Daughters Hospital Madison. He was born at Hamilton on December 15, 1947 the son of Ernest and Pruda Day Setser. He was married to Mary Ann Hardy in 1992 and she preceded him in death in 2006. Survivors include his mother Pruda Setser of Versailles; son Shawn Setser of Tampa, Florida; daughter Tiffany (Jason) Wilmot of Middletown, Ohio; grandchildren Riley Wilmot, Brittany, Ricky, and Dustin Setser; his aunts Lillie Hisle of Greenfield, Mary Ellen Thieman and Pauline (Irvin) Hart both of Versailles; uncles Dale (LaVerne), Joe (Peggy), and Tom (Lorine) Day all of Versailles. He was preceded in death by his father and his brother Dale. Mr. Setser was a former employee of Elder Beerman in Hamilton and also with Goodwill. He was a member of the New Testament Christian Church in Osgood and enjoyed gardening and woodworking. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 10:30am at the Stratton-Karsteter Funeral Home in Versailles with Irvin Hart officiating. Burial will be in the College Corner Cemetery.
