**Gay White**, 81, of Versailles passed away Monday, March 25, 2013 at the Kings Daughters Hospital in Madison. She was born near Dabney on July 18, 1931 the daughter of Luther and Emma Ensminger Pickett. She was married to Ed White on December 6, 1949 and he survives. Other survivors include two sons Rocky (Susie) White of Napoleon and Roger White of Osgood; three daughters Joyce (Jim) Youngman of Osgood, Linda (Bill) Brewer and Bonnie (Mike) Raney both of Versailles; 9 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren; one brother Everett (Gail) Pickett of Florida.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and her brothers Dale Pickett and Hillis Pickett. Mrs. White was a 1949 graduate of Holton High School. She was a homemaker, had worked for US Shoe in Osgood, and did babysitting. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 27 at 2pm at the Stratton-Karsteter Funeral Home in Versailles with Rev. David Shivers of the Hopewell Baptist Church officiating. Burial will be in the Holton Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from 12pm until time of services. Memorials may be given to the Holton Cemetery in care of the funeral home.
