George Everett Beach

George Everett Beach, 73, of Holton passed away Thursday, October 17, 2002 at his residence. Mr. Beach was born at Osgood on November 25, 1928 the son of Everett and Louise Stegmann Beach and was married to Ruth Naylor on April 5, 1954 and she survives. Other survivors include his mother-in-law Mrs. Zelpha Naylor of Holton, son Daniel Beach and his wife Alice of Holton, daughter Brenda Beach of Holton, grandchildren Jennifer Compton and her husband Brent of Dennison, Illinois, Kim, Jessica, and Justin Beach of Holton; sisters Mary Adams and her husband George of Dayton, Indiana, and Beatrice Boyd of Holton. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Jesse, Wilbur and Woodrow Beach, and his sister Mildred Cizek. Mr. Beach was retired from the Muscatatuck State Developmental Center where he worked as an electrician. He was also a retired farmer. Mr. Beach was a 1946 graduate of Holton High School and attended the Versailles Wesleyan Church. Visitation will be Friday October 18 from 5pm to 8pm at the Stratton Karsteter Funeral Home in Versailles. Funeral services will be Saturday October 19 at 10:30am at the funeral home with Rev. David Shivers and Rev. Mark Kessen officiating. Burial will be in the Holton Cemetery. Memorials may be given to the Parkinson's Disease Foundation or to the Versailles Wesleyan Church.
