George Leslie Geisler

**George Leslie Geisler**, 76, of Versailles passed away Thursday, June 7, 2012 at the Margaret Mary Community Hospital in Batesville. He was born in Jefferson County, on May 2, 1936 the son of Alva and Doris Faye Housefield Geisler. Survivors include two sons Terry Geisler and Jerry Geisler both of Madison; one daughter Kathy Emery of Madison; 10 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild; five brothers Elvan (Babara), Bernard (Debbie), and Roy Geisler all of Rexville, Marvin Geisler of Vevay, and Bobby (Agnes) Geisler of Washington; one sister Nancy Simmons of Rexville. He was preceded in death by his parents. Mr. Geisler was a 1955 graduate of New Marion High School and was employed with Reliance Electric for 37 years. Leslie was a member of the West Fork Baptist Church. Funeral services will be held Monday, June 11 at 11am at the Stratton-Karsteter Funeral Home. Burial will be in the West Fork Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday from 4pm to 7pm.
