Grace Lucille Bixler

Grace Lucille Bixler, 74, of Gosport, passed away at 12:17pm Wednesday, October 14, 2015 at her son's house in Milan. She was born at Indianapolis on February 28, 1941 the daughter of Robert and Jeanette Imhausen. She was married to David Leon on September 29, 1959 and he survives. Other survivors include two sons Charles (Fran) Bixler of Milan and Don (Andrea) Bixler of Spencer; 6 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, and her brother Bob Imhausen and two sisters; Peggy Bohall and Mary Sodrell. She was a former employee of the Gosport Nursing Home and Highway 67 Convenient Store. Mrs. Bixler was a member of the Owen Valley Homemakers. Her hobbies included cooking, quilting and making crafts. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 17 at 12noon at the West & Parrish & Pedigo Funeral Home, 105 North Montgomery Street, Spencer, Indiana. Burial will be in the Riverside Cemetery in Spencer. Visitation will be Saturday from 10am until the time of service at the funeral home.
