Guy Pollard,
76, of Pierceville
passed away Tuesday, October 11, 2005 at the Christ
Hospital in Cincinnati. He was born at Lockland, Ohio on March 4,
1929 the son of Estol and Cordelia Burk Pollard. He was married
to Joan Walke on March 24, 1951 and she preceded him in death on
May 2, 2000. Survivors include one son Gary Pollard and his wife
Michelle of Indianapolis; three daughters, Kathie Thornton and her
husband Jerry of Pierceville, Kim Roberts and her husband Mark of
Little Rock, Arkansas, and Tammy Day of Daytona Beach; nine grandchildren
and eight great-grandchildren; two brothers, William Pollard of
California and Ken Pollard of Cincinnati; one sister Dorothy Gutzwiller
of Cincinnati. Besides his parents and wife, he was preceded in
death by his daughter Pam Smith. Mr. Pollard was a veteran of WWII
where he served as a flight surgeon attendant in the Army Air Corp.
He was a retired production supervisor for American Radionic in
Palm Coast, Florida. Funeral services will be held at the convenience
of the family. The Stratton-Karsteter Funeral Home in Versailles
is in charge of arrangements.
