Helen L. Fuehrer, 79, of Versailles
passed away at her home. She was born at Batesville on February 15, 1935 the daughter of Wilbur and Dora Little Jarvis. Survivors include two sons Rick (Robyn) Fuehrer of Bearden, Arkansas and David (Terrie) Fuehrer of Ormond Beach, Florida; two grandchildren Ashley Crabtree of Chattanooga, Tennessee, and Camerin Fuehrer of Ormond Beach; three great-grandchildren Daniel, Robbie, and Wyatt Crabtree; one brother Ronald Jarvis of Vevay; one sister Faye Bradfield of Indianapolis. She was preceded in death by her parents. Mrs. Fuehrer was a 1953 graduate of Versailles High School. She had worked as a house parent at the Indiana School for the Blind in Indianapolis. She had also served as a page for the Indiana Senate and was a former employee of the Jefferson Proving Ground and the Daytona Beach Florida News Journal. Helen was a member of the Versailles Baptist Church.
Graveside services will be held
on Wednesday, May 14
at 1pm at the Cliff Hill Cemetery in Versailles with Rev. Mike Cantrell of the Versailles Baptist Church officiating. Memorials may be given to the donor's choice in care of the Stratton-Karsteter Funeral Home, Versailles.
